Design Notes: 04.15.04
I LOVE this show and felt that I needed to throw together a CD art set for this bootleg. However, while I'm plenty pleased with the results, they art apparently does not in the least bit reflect the venue.
Y'see, I was a MASSIVE Anne Rice fan way back when. So, when I saw the name Lestats, I thought, "Cool... I'll go with a vampire-y kind of theme." I threw in an ambiguous goblet of wine/blood, some hieroglyphics, a skeleton, and a hot "vampire" for good measure.
Later when I gave a sneak peek of the set to Jon of Mrazmerized.com (who happened to tape this particular gem), I was informed that Lestat's "is basically a hole in the wall coffee shop". Whoops.
So this is what you get when you mix east coast ignorance with a love of Anne Rice and lust for "Flying My Guilt Over a Quilt". Yay me!
